Yeah, the tall goofy chick.
Thank God some things change, but some can't. Still tall, mostly the loner still, wiser by far.
The other Bio folks seem to have happily married after school, I went the long way and had to do it a few times before I got it right. Learned a lot along the way about myself and "men", and found a wonderful man, Joe, in 2003 (rode to the 100th anniversary of Harley together) to share my life with.
I did 4 years in the Air Force, 16 years with a NASA contractor as an electrical engineer (thanks Science teachers one and all), and am happily retired on property I bought 30 years ago here in Washington State. We have 3 feet of snow right now (2/1/08) and Scottsdale looks better and better. Most of my family still lives in Phoenix/Tucson.
I have a wonderful 25 year old daughter, who has a son Riley, 18 months, and another on the way. She lives an hour or so away, close but not too close.
Next to family, my motorcycles are my main source of interest. I started riding motorcycles before I graduated, and bought my first Harley in 1976. I have owned a group of them, still have two, including a side-hack (3 wheeler) for kicks and grins. Gardening and travelling (motorcycles and large ships) are my other main events.
But for the Grace of God, I would have died from some amazing and crazy misadventure long ago.
Life is good!
